I’m truly grateful to have been part of the incredible short film Among Ghosts (Iblandt spøgelser), directed by Mads Mathiesen and starring the Danish actor Jens Albinus.

From the early stages of production, I collaborated closely with Mads to craft a unique and original score. The entire soundtrack consists of source music—heard within the film’s world—which posed an unusual challenge: the music had to sound intentionally amateur, as it is performed by the film’s characters themselves.

For the project, I worked with several talented musicians, including guitarist Andreas Thorhauge-Ravnholt and tuba player Lars Birkelund Olsen, while also taking on the task of learning and performing the accordion myself.
The film has been warmly received by the Danish film industry and was featured at the Odense Film Festival 2025.

The movie in short:
Søren, a new ghost, attends hos own wake. In his attempt to contact his father, Søren must realize that not everyone expresses their grief in the same way. Along the way, his perception of his dad and his family is deeply challenged.
